Blueberrry update for June 27

Posted 6/27/2011 8:36pm by Sam Bellamy.
The blueberry field will be open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings, 8am to 0:30am. It is possible that it may even be open on Thrusday depending on how Wednesday goes.
We are getting into some interesting peaches. The white Carolina Belles are now available, as are the Norman peaches. The first of the Winblo peaches will be coming off this week, maybe tommorrow. This will be getting us where we can offer peaches in volume. So some homemade peach ice cream may fit in nicely for July 4th. Cantaloupe and blueberries are not bad either. For fun red , white and blue potato salad is an interesting novelty for the 4th. We have watermelons and more.

Spring is Coming!

We're excited about the changing season as we plant more lettuce, seed trays with warmer season crops, transplant tiny tomato plants into larger trays and protect the earliest strawberry blossoms from frost.

We've harvesting a rainbow of crops from bright red radishes and dark green spinach to carrots and colorful chard.

I've already seen a few red strawberries and can't wait for Spring to arrive with buckets of juicy berries!

We have several Market Locations, each open on different days, with different hours. See the bottom of our Home Page for the details on each.
