Spring Market & Strawberry Update 4/8/21

Posted 4/8/2021 10:08am by Sam Bellamy.

Strawberry season is officially here! While most of the berries are not yet ripe we are getting ready to harvest the early berries that were protected from the cool temperatures over the past few weeks. Some of the extra-early berries may be in our On-Farm Market as soon as this Saturday, depending on the rain we could get Thursday and Friday. As of writing this we don't yet have dates for Pick-Your-Own but are expecting to have more info over the next few weeks.

The Myrtle Beach Farmers Market is back on April 14th!!! Sarah will be at this market, located at the corner of 10th Ave. and Oak Street, each week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9:00 - 3:00.

As usual we will be at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach farmer's market on Thursday afternoons. This is located at 920 Crabtree Lane, Myrtle Beach in the Market Commons area.

Our On-Farm Market is open each week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9:00 - 4:00 with our freshly harvested produce along with some not yet in season produce to round out the delicious flavors.

Also in our On-Farm Market:

  • Local Honey
  • Jams, Jelly and Spreads in a variety of flavors
  • SC Grown cornmeal, grits and Carolina Gold rice
  • Salsa, Elderberry syrup and an amazing dipping sauce all from local companies
  • Hoop Cheese, butter and our own frozen Apple Cider
  • Locally raised beef and chicken from WK Price Farms and Fox Farms

Thank you for supporting local food!
