Apple Cider, Pumpkins and Fall Veggies 10/23/20
We're excited about Fall weather and about sharing some of this season's delicious flavors with y'all!
Our On-Farm Market is bursting with pumpkins in every size and color and a wide selection of apple varieties, from sweet ready-to-slice apples to the more tart flavored cooking apples. What is not as noticeable is our freshly pressed apple cider, locally grown sweet potatoes and farm-harvested chestnuts.
We're currently harvesting a limited amount of Fall beans, the early heads of cabbage, beautiful heads of broccoli, yellow squash, zucchini, organic radishes and organic peppers.
In the field we are waiting on the chard, lettuce, turnips, carrots, beets, arugula, mizuna and our collards to grow large enough to harvest. We've also begun planting the strawberries for next spring.
Our On-Farm Market will continue to be open from 9:00 - 4:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The Myrtle Beach Farmer's Market will follow the three days/week schedule for ONE MORE WEEK after this and October 31st will be the final Saturday for the season. After this the Myrtle Beach Farmer's Market will continue on Wednesdays only until Thanksgiving.
The International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach will continue to hold their Thursday Farmer's Market from 1:00 - 5:00.
