Posted 7/28/2017 9:13am by Sam Bellamy.
This weekend is a great time for peaches! We have O Henry and Summer Lady freestone peaches. We have China Pearl white fleshed peaches also.
We have many varieties of eggplant and peppers coming off the farm . Now is the time for getting white eggplant.
Now is the time for figs.

Watermelons and tomatoes continue to bring smiles and slivers of joy to the summer.
We have some peas and beans. Speckled butter beans continue to make themselves unknown everywhere. In fact half runners , speckled butter beans are almost nowhere to be found. We are currently planting both of these varieties and other varieties for a fall crop. We will see how this works.
As that matures we can look forward to grapes coning soon , a few pawpaws should be available this year. How they escaped the March freeze still amazes me. savor the summer and enjoy every good gift God gives us.

It's starting to feel a bit like Christmas! The Farm Market is stocked with delicious seasonal greens, like our freshly cut mustard, arugula, locally grown collards and more! We still have those wonderful, juicy apples and an abundance of beautiful sweet potatoes.

Looking for a unique gift idea? Try our Create-Your-Own Christmas Baskets! Pick any of our produce, products and a decorative basket to design a gift anyone would love! Make sure to stop at Moka Cafe next door and add some of their excellent baked goods as well.

We will be back at the Myrtle Beach Farmers starting Spring 2019 - October.

The Market at the Culinary Institute at Market Common will resume in January 2019.

The December Farm Market hours are 10:00 - 4:00 Thurs - Saturday.
